Differently Abled and Seniors' Assistance Design New-arm Arm Skate Device for Stroke Rehab by Agnes Xue New-arm is a rehabilitation assistive device which infuses gamification to an arm skate to motivate post-stroke survivors to regain their upper limb mobility. The novelty lies with pairing it with a non-immersive virtual reality game that complements the arm-skate device to provide a rewarded, goal-directed task to motivate post-stroke survivors where users could undertake point-to-point reaching tasks, performed on a table; encouraging users to engage socially on fun and meaningful rehabilitation therapy.
